Guardian Angels Membership
Founded in 1997, the Guardian Angels are a membership support group of Jackson Memorial Foundation comprised of over 300 members with the mission of assisting Holtz Children’s Hospital, located at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Medical Center, in providing the very best medical care to all children in our community. The group raises private funds to enhance and expand pediatric specialty programs, and leads the creation of a comforting modern environment for hospitalized children and their families.
Guardian Angels pledge $1,000 per year for five years to join this charitable and caring group of friends and enjoy a camaraderie and sense of mission. They can actively participate in projects, committees and events, or simply provide financial support.
Throughout the year, they host numerous social events available to members and their guests. Affairs include private showings of artists’ designs at members’ homes, upscale restaurant openings, private cocktail parties, and an annual Miami Heat Family Festival. The culmination of the group’s efforts is its annual Guardians of the Children Luncheon, which provides Guardian Angels with the perfect opportunity to celebrate their accomplishments as they continue to recruit new members.
